Manage Your Listings

How do I post a Listing?

It is quick and easy to post a listing on Casting Box. Simply click the orange “Post Listing” button and follow the instructions: (1) Select Categories; (2) Add Title, Photos & Description; (3) Fill in some more information about your listing; (4) Select your Location; (5) Submit Listing!

Your listing will appear on the site as soon as our moderation team completes their review. This usually takes 30mins during office hours. Listings posted during weekends or public holidays will be reviewed the first working day thereafter. You’ll receive an email confirmation when your listing goes live.

If your listing violates our posting rules it will be rejected. You’ll receive an email to aware you of this. You should then edit your listing and ensure it adheres to our posting rules. Alternatively you can use the "Contact Us" at the bottom of the website to enquire further.

What are the posting rules?

To ensure Casting Box is a safe place to trade, we don’t allow listings containing the following:

Terms or services that are illegal in Zimbabwe

Items or services that are not located in Zimbabwe

Invalid phone numbers or email addresses

Unrealistic offers

Offensive language

Offensive pictures

Titles or descriptions that are unrelated to the advertised item or service

Pictures that are unrelated or do not clearly show the advertised item or service

Offers and requests for items or services in the same listing

The same content as another live listing

Multiple items in the same listing

How do I edit my listing?

You can edit your listing at any time. Simply visit the “My Dashboard” section and click the "Edit Listing" button next to the particular listing. Edited listings will be manually reviewed by our moderation team. This usually takes 30mins during office hours. Listings edited during weekends or public holidays will be reviewed the first working day thereafter. You’ll receive an email confirmation when your edits to your listing is shown live.

How long will my listing appear on Castingbox.co.zw?

Listing on Castingbox.co.zw are visible for 90 days and may be reposted once it reaches the day of expiration date.

Listings may only be reposted once. If you want to create a permanent listing eg for Equipment Hire, please send us an email with the Subject Heading Long Term Listing Promo.

How can I repost my Listing?

Listings on Casting Box are visible for 90 days and may be reposted once it reaches the day of expiration date.

Go to your "My Dashboard" link at the top of the page (or via the menu on Mobile) and click on "My Listings". You will see a list of your Listings. Listings that are eligible for reposting, will have the "REPOST" button active once it reaches the day of expiration date. You can use that to repost your listings. If a listing is not eligible for reposting, the button will not work and you will have to wait until the expiration date to repost it. You will also receive an email 7 days prior to the 90-day expiration date containing a link which you may click on to have the listing reposted.

Please note that reposting a listing will bump it to the top of the listings page in its category, however, editing a listing will not affect the ranking of the particular listing, nor will it affect the amount of days until it becomes eligible for reposting, or expiry.

How can I delete my Listing?

If you decide you no longer wish to list with us, please delete your listing. Simply visit the “My Dashboard” section and click the “Delete Listing” button. Your listing will be instantly removed. Please note that once your listing is deleted, there is no way to get it back!

Account & Registration

How do I register on Castingbox.co.zw?

It’s FREE and easy to create an account on Casting Box. Visit the “Login / Register” page and then click on "Register for a free account" or the “Join Now” button the homepage. Enter your details. We’ll then send you a confirmation email to verify your contact details.

How can I create a new password?

If you have forgotten your password: (1) Click the “Forgot your Password?” link on the Login page; (2) Type in your registered email, and click "Send me a new password". Your password will be reset to a new one, which you will receive in an email. If you like you can then change the password to one you'll remember (see the next step).

If you simply wish to change your password: (1) Login to your account; (2) Go to “My account”; (3) Go to "Edit Profile"; (4) Under "Change Password" enter your new password.
